Abstract

Net photosynthesis in potato crops is discussed. It was possible to calculate DM production even when water supply limited growth, using a modification of the procedure proposed by de Wit (see F.C.A. 19: 515). The relation between transpiration and total DM production was dependent on meteorological conditions during growth and not on specific differences between cv.
