The effect of the ani on in the fertilizer on the ani on and cation content of perennial ryegrass.

Abstract

In different series of pots containing sandy soil with moderate N and Cl content, KNO₃ was applied alone or in mixtures with KC1, K monophosphate or K₂SO₄ the NO₃ being partly or wholly replaced by equivalent amounts of Cl, PO₄ or SO₄. In the PO₄ and SO₄ series, but not in the Cl series, total ani on content and cation content of the ryegrass decreased with decreasing amounts of NO₃. Cl and NO₃ had a similar effect on the total number of anions and cations present. (Abstract retrieved from CAB Abstracts by CABI’s permission)
