Abstract

Sponginess in radishes, cv. Novired, was studied in greenhouse pot experiments at different EC levels (1, 4 and 8 dS/m, 25 degrees C) of the nutrient solution applied and at 5/7 degrees and 5/12 degrees C temperatures. Increased EC and a low daytime temperature reduced the incidence of sponginess. (Abstract retrieved from CAB Abstracts by CABI’s permission)
